Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and cooperative DevOps Engineer dedicated to enhancing the development, deployment, and management of dependable and scalable software systems. This role centers on boosting engineering efficiency, promoting automation, ensuring system reliability, and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and sustain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Automate build, test, deployment, and infrastructure workflows.
  • Enable smooth software delivery across various development environments.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, testers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to address operational needs and resolve technical challenges.
  • Manage and observe cloud-based or on-premises infrastructure.
  • Implement infrastructure as code utilizing relevant tooling.
  • Uphold deployment and configuration standards to support application availability and scalability.
  • Drive automation initiatives and enhance system monitoring and security.
  • Continuously refine development and operational methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and software lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and automation tools for building, testing, and deploying software.
  • Familiar with major cloud service providers including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is advantageous.
  • Solid grasp of Linux/Unix environments, networking fundamentals, system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Competence in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability best practices.
  • Experience using version control systems, particularly Git and associated workflows.
  • Awareness of security practices, access controls, and DevSecOps concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proactive approach with emphasis on automation, reliability, continual enhancement, and operational excellence.
