DevOps Engineer SDE-2

About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our Infrastructure team in Noida Sec 62. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop, maintain, and enhance scalable and dependable infrastructure. This role is critical for boosting developer efficiency, maintaining infrastructure uptime and reliability, minimizing repetitive operational work via automation, and establishing strong monitoring and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure uptime, availability, and dependability.
• Create tools and applications to enhance developer productivity and experience.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual effort.
• Enhance infrastructure observability by implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Manage and monitor Golden Signals for both infrastructure and services.
• Work collaboratively with internal engineering teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and refine tools and processes.
• Contribute to system security by enforcing best practices.
• Design and optimize scalable infrastructure and deployment workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Over 3 years of practical experience in core DevOps and infrastructure management.
• Solid understanding of system design and distributed systems operations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
• Experience working with Kubernetes Operators.
• Strong background with AWS or other prominent cloud platforms.
• Practical knowledge of observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, and New Relic.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language; preferably Golang or Python. Candidates skilled in other programming languages will also be considered.
• Experienced in working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledgeable in Linux operating system environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and responsibly managing infrastructure-related projects.
