Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

In the DevOps Engineer capacity, you will streamline the software development and deployment lifecycle by fostering better collaboration between development, quality assurance, and operations teams. Your tasks will include creating and maintaining continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment workflows, managing configuration environments, and monitoring application performance. You will partner with software developers, QA teams, and infrastructure experts to boost release stability and minimize manual operational efforts. Additional duties encompass troubleshooting deployment issues, managing version control operations, implementing infrastructure automation, maintaining monitoring tools, and supporting containerized environments. You will also strive to enhance system uptime, bolster security in operations, and standardize software delivery and infrastructure management practices.

As a Cloud Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, deploying, sustaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. Responsibilities include provisioning cloud resources, administering virtual environments, overseeing system performance metrics, and ensuring cloud applications remain scalable and highly available. Collaborating closely with IT staff, software engineers, and security personnel, you will deliver dependable cloud solutions aligned with both technical and business needs. Additional responsibilities include handling cloud storage management, network configuration, backup and disaster recovery procedures, resource optimization, and resolving cloud infrastructure challenges. You will also contribute to enhancing cloud security, managing access controls, reducing costs, and continuously improving cloud architecture and operational methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of operating systems, computer networking, system administration, and infrastructure management.
• Experience or familiarity with Linux operating systems, scripting languages, version control tools, and diagnostic utilities.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, configuration management, and modern software delivery techniques is advantageous.
• Comprehension of cloud computing principles, virtualization, networking, storage, and resource allocation.
• Experience or exposure to major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Knowledge of container technologies, orchestration systems, infrastructure as code, or configuration automation tools is beneficial.
• Understanding of monitoring systems, logging practices, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and maintaining system availability.
• Aware of cloud security practices including identity and access management, encryption standards, and cost control measures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and technical documentation tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.
