Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time DevOps Engineer to be based on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This role centers around architecting and managing scalable infrastructure aimed at supporting data-driven AI solutions. Key responsibilities include ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure to back AI and data initiatives.
- Oversee the management of continuous integration (CI) pipelines and automate deployment procedures.
- Monitor system health diligently and resolve production-related issues collaboratively with development and data teams.
- Implement infrastructure as code strategies to optimize provisioning and maintenance.
- Enhance Linux environments through effective management and troubleshooting.
- Streamline release processes and foster best practices in system administration and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong software development abilities, including scripting in languages such as Python or Bash to automate workflows.
- Experience handling Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in system administration involving server configuration, security protocols, and maintenance.
- Advanced Linux skills for effectively managing and optimizing production environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, alongside containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, monitoring systems, logging, and incident management procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Capability to work well with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
