DevOps Engineer (Azure & Databricks)

Overview

NexGen Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer based in Mumbai for a full-time on-site role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, continuous integration and deployment automation, containerization using Docker or Podman, Kubernetes orchestration, and managing deployments on Databricks. This position focuses on creating and maintaining automated, scalable, and secure pipelines to deliver applications efficiently across different environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps to automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
• Architect environment-specific deployment approaches including approval processes and rollback capabilities to ensure smooth releases.
• Analyze and resolve failures or issues in pipelines and deployments promptly.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker or Podman and deploy container-based applications within Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop Helm charts to facilitate Kubernetes deployments and maintain cluster operational health.
• Troubleshoot container-related, networking, and orchestration challenges at the cluster level.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure components, configuring resources to support scalable and reliable application delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in DevOps role with strong Azure DevOps expertise.
• Proficient in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment workflows.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration, including Helm chart development and cluster troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services, infrastructure management, and deployment practices.
• Local candidates based in Mumbai preferred due to on-site work requirements.
