DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are partnering with a leading global tech company to recruit a Cloud & DevOps Engineer dedicated to designing, automating, and maintaining advanced cloud and container platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and automate cloud infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based ecosystems along with containerized applications.
• Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines to optimize software release cycles.
• Monitor system health, performance, and uptime to ensure platform reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and platform challenges.
• Apply security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices effectively.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to provide dependable technology solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Experience within cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or automation environments.
• Proficient hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Argo CD for pipeline management.
• Scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or comparable scripting languages.
• Excellent skills in troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork.

Additional Information

• Annual salary package of approximately 130,000 AUD.
• Positions available in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.
• Applicants must be Australian citizens possessing an active security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the role.
