DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer based in Qatar, specializing in Azure cloud technologies with at least 7 years in DevOps and cloud engineering. This role emphasizes expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and container orchestration, with an additional focus on integrating AI and cost management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage applications using Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI technologies.
• Utilize Azure OpenAI and other Cognitive Services to enhance cloud solutions.
• Implement and maintain monitoring frameworks with tools such as Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Manage API usage including rate limiting and token administration for AI-based services.
• Optimize cloud expenditures specifically related to AI workloads, integrating FinOps principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Over 7 years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure Functions, and API Management.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform or Bicep.
• Proficient in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong scripting abilities using languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, networking concepts, and governance.
• Experience or familiarity with financial operations (FinOps) related to cloud cost management is desirable.
