DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

iO Associates are recruiting for two DevOps Engineer positions based in Bristol, working a hybrid schedule of three days per week on-site. These permanent roles aim to support client growth by refining development and operational workflows, ensuring fast and dependable software delivery through enhanced infrastructure and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software release processes.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment methodologies.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Uphold secure and compliant infrastructure and deployment standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven commercial experience in DevOps utilizing cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Competent scripting abilities in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, plus Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Possession of active Security Clearance (SC) is highly advantageous.

• Salary Range: £80,000 to £95,000 per annum
