Role Overview

The Detailer is vital for preserving the visual appeal and presentation of RV units. Responsibilities include cleaning, detailing, and performing small cosmetic maintenance to ensure each RV adheres to the company’s high standards ahead of customer delivery or showroom exhibition.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and detail the exterior of RVs to meet company quality benchmarks.
• Clean storage compartments and polish wheels and tires.
• Apply and remove decals and sealants as directed.
• Paint components such as frames, hitches, steps, and jacks.
• Repair or replace fender skirts and moldings when necessary.
• Maintain updated completion boards to monitor each unit’s status.
• Report any damage or repair needs to the Parts/Service Manager.
• Assist the service team by keeping the work area clean and orderly.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, safety standards, and cleanliness protocols.
• Operate equipment responsibly and report any equipment maintenance issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Prior experience in detail work or a workshop environment is preferred.
• Strong focus on detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

• Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, 15 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Good close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to moderate noise levels and cleaning chemicals in the work environment.
