Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time detailer to join our production team responsible for executing OPENLANE's comprehensive five-step vehicle reconditioning process. This permanent, onsite role is based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for auction by carrying out the full reconditioning process in line with company procedures and service agreements.
• Perform various detailing tasks such as interior cleaning, upholstery treatment, vinyl dressing, tar and decal removal, vacuuming and shampooing interiors, window cleaning, pre-washing, buffing, and ensuring quality control.
• Occasionally photograph and stage vehicles after detailing.
• Inspect quality of completed work before vehicles move to subsequent reconditioning stages.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the workspace at all times.
• Ensure equipment and facilities remain in good working condition; notify management about any breakdowns or maintenance requirements.
• Promote teamwork within the department and adhere strictly to established safety procedures to protect employees and property.
• Report any injuries, losses, or damage promptly and comply with safety and reporting guidelines.
• Perform other related duties assigned by authorized personnel.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Clear driving record and criminal background check required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is desirable.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing.

Preferred Experience

• One to three years of automotive detailing experience is advantageous.

• Hourly wage between $17.60 and $21.70 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
