Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive interior and exterior vehicle detailing, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and applying protective treatments to meet dealership specifications.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring they are spotless, visually appealing, and ready to create a positive first impression.
• Apply various protective coatings such as paint and fabric protection, as well as aftermarket aesthetic enhancements, following provided instructions.
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic imperfections like scratches, stains, and odors, resolving issues or escalating when necessary.
• Safely and proficiently use detailing equipment such as pressure washers, buffers, vacuum cleaners, and steam cleaners.
• Keep the detailing bay clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Collaborate with service advisors, porters, and sales personnel to prioritize vehicle detailing tasks and meet delivery schedules.
• Operate efficiently under a flat-rate system where performance speed and quality influence compensation.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in vehicle detailing or automotive industry preferred, especially in a dealership environment, though motivated individuals without formal background are welcomed.
• Demonstrates high attention to detail and personal pride in delivering flawless work.
• Self-motivated and able to maintain productivity in a performance-based pay structure.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and remain on feet throughout shifts, adapting to working conditions typical in Alaska.
• Competent in operating detailing machinery safely.
• Possesses a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Exhibits a cooperative team-oriented attitude recognizing vehicle preparation’s impact across departments.
