About the Role

Join Adventure World as a Destination Expert specializing in Africa & South America, North America, or Eurasia. This role is remote based in Western Australia operating during AEST 9-5 pm hours. The position is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional passionate about travel and skilled at cultivating relationships and crafting remarkable travel experiences to convert prospects into high-value bookings.

You will inspire travelers by using your deep destination knowledge and consultative sales approach to design tailored journeys—from luxury safaris in Africa, Canadian rail adventures, to immersive trips across Europe and Asia. The role focuses on relationship building, devising personalized travel solutions, and achieving sales success supported by streamlined systems and operational assistance, allowing you more time to sell and less on administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Surpass sales, conversion, and revenue targets.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customers and travel agent partners.
  • Create customized itineraries that captivate travellers and maximize booking value.
  • Spot opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and enhancing the customer journey.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads to ensure bookings.
  • Leverage your destination expertise to confidently guide customer travel decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure seamless booking experiences.
  • Keep up-to-date product and destination knowledge in your specialization.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a customer-focused setting.
  • Excellent consultative selling and relationship management skills.
  • Confident communicator able to engage customers and influence purchase decisions.
  • Strong enthusiasm for travel and commitment to becoming a destination expert in your region.
  • Resilient, motivated, and able to succeed in a fast-paced and target-driven work environment.
  • Proficient with CRM, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Microsoft Office, and sales/reservation management software.
