About Qualcomm and Role Summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited’s Engineering Group within Hardware Engineering is seeking an experienced Design Verification Staff member. This role requires a deep understanding of digital design and expertise in IP/SoC level verification.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Possess strong knowledge of digital design coupled with IP/SoC verification experience.
• Utilize Hardware Verification Languages such as SystemVerilog and methodologies including UVM/OVM and SystemC.
• Develop and work with HDL, specifically Verilog.
• Understand ARM and DSP CPU architectures and high-speed peripheral interfaces like USB 2/3, PCIe, and SDIO.
• Exposure to audio subsystem components including audio peripherals, Bluetooth, and WLAN is advantageous.
• Apply techniques in Power-aware Verification, GLS, and test vector generation.
• Experience with functional and debugging bus protocols.
• Familiarity with formal verification and artificial intelligence tools is a plus.
• Work with version control systems such as Clearcase or Perforce.
• Employ scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, or Python to automate processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related technical field, paired with 2 or more years of relevant hardware engineering experience.
• Alternatively, candidates possessing a Master's degree with 1 or more year of experience or a PhD in the relevant disciplines are also eligible.
• Overall, candidates should have 9 or more years of professional experience.
