About the Internship
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity in the design and product development of fashion jewellery at Adam Enterprises, a reputed Indian designer brand established in 1988. The intern will engage in crafting original jewellery pieces, reviving older stock, sourcing materials, collaborating with artisans, researching market trends, and maintaining thorough documentation of product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze contemporary fashion and jewellery trends including emerging shapes, colours, motifs, and materials.
- Create original jewellery concepts and variations of existing successful designs across categories such as necklaces, bracelets, chokers, pendants, and earrings.
- Develop sketches, moodboards, design presentations, and refine creations based on founder's feedback.
- Assess old stock for potential reuse or modification, integrating components like pendants, charms, beads, and chains into new designs.
- Source materials including beads, stones, metal components, clasps, and decorative elements.
- Interface with artisans by communicating design needs, providing references and sketches, coordinating sample creation, inspections, and revisions while tracking costs and progress.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify opportunities and trends aligned with the brand's positioning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of new and approved concepts, materials, suppliers, samples, revisions, final designs, and cost estimations.

Qualifications & Skills Required
- Prior experience in jewellery design is essential.
- Familiarity with beads, stones, chains, and related components.
- Experience collaborating with artisans or manufacturers.
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Procreate.
- Basic understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
- A portfolio showcasing academic or personal jewellery design projects.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging between INR 8,000 and 12,000.
