The Design Engineer role supports the engineering and design functions of project-specific tasks, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and budgets. This role also provides technical support for sales, marketing, and product enhancement initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Design Engineer is accountable for completing engineering and design assignments tailored to specific projects within budget constraints. Additionally, the role involves offering technical assistance for sales and marketing teams and contributing to product improvement projects.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate holds a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. They should possess 3-7 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor or comparable 3D modeling software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings. Proficiency in applying mathematical principles to complex scenarios, reading and developing specifications, and interpreting General Arrangement, Fabrication, and Erection drawings is essential.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoDesk Inventor, AutoDesk AutoCAD, and AutoDesk Vault
• Experience with parametric modeling techniques
• Knowledge of fabrication processes such as welding, pipe fitting, and assembly
• Familiarity with Visual Basic and Autodesk Inventor iLogic automation
• Capable of using MS Word, MS Excel, and other MS Office tools
• Advanced English language skills for written and verbal communication
