Our business embraces innovation, employing the latest technologies and AI tools in design, engineering, and operational processes.

Role Summary

  • Generate thorough Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support procurement and assembly efforts.
  • Develop detailed fabrication drawings, three-dimensional models, and conceptual sketches.
  • Conduct customer site visits to evaluate requirements, supervise installations, and confirm specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to clarify needs and propose design solutions.
  • Work alongside mechanical and electrical engineers ensuring designs are feasible, safe, and meet project goals.
  • Maintain project documentation, manage revisions, and support quality control throughout project lifecycles.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering or has demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience in designing automation equipment such as conveyors, pneumatic systems, or machinery.
  • Proficient with CAD tools within project environments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems principles.
  • Adept at engaging in technical discussions and visits with customers onsite.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to BOM accuracy and documentation detail.
  • Must currently reside in Ireland; applications from outside Ireland are not accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in conveyor design or system integration projects.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical controls or PLC systems.
  • Understanding of machinery safety standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience or willingness to apply AI tools to improve design work, including concept exploration, calculation verification, documentation drafting, or streamlining CAD and BOM procedures.

Benefits & Work Schedule

  • Collaborative and supportive small team environment.
  • Opportunities for ongoing career training and development.
  • Competitive benefits including pension contributions, company laptop, and smartphone.
  • Clear growth and progression potential.
