Design Architect

Overview

DesignLink Architecture & Design is seeking a Design Architect to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing their work to be considered. This role involves leading projects from conceptual stages through to detailed development, ensuring professional conduct and client satisfaction throughout.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client briefs and develop concept designs demonstrating above-average capability or strong potential.
• Manage projects from early concept through detailed stages successfully.
• Maintain professional behavior and uphold client satisfaction for both new and ongoing clients.
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Department regarding project progress, design quality, resources, changes, site or planning issues.
• Ensure accuracy and correctness of personal work and oversight of team outputs.
• Review and verify all CAD drawings and documents generated under supervision.
• Plan project schedules and deliverables at the start of each phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Bachelor of Science in Architecture with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.
• At least 2-3 recent years of experience working within the UAE.
• Demonstrated above-average conceptual design skills or strong evidence of exceptional potential.
• Creative, passionate about architectural design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and at least one 3D design software.
