Design Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and meticulous Design Architect who can craft innovative architectural concepts and practical design solutions that harmonize aesthetics, usability, and technical needs. The successful applicant will possess a solid grasp of architectural design fundamentals, spatial arrangements, materials, and building systems, with the ability to translate project briefs into comprehensive design proposals. Collaboration with clients, consultants, and project teams is crucial to ensure alignment of designs with project goals, quality benchmarks, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create architectural concepts, detailed design proposals, layouts, and spatial planning solutions in line with project requirements.
• Produce architectural drawings, three-dimensional models, renderings, and visual presentations to clearly convey design concepts.
• Assess building materials, finishes, lighting, and spatial setups to achieve both functional and visually attractive outcomes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other relevant parties during the design phases.
• Examine design specifications, drawings, and documentation to verify precision, consistency, and feasibility.
• Incorporate client input and manage design modifications to fulfil project expectations.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, sustainability principles, and other relevant guidelines.
• Keep abreast of current architectural trends, new materials, design technologies, and best industry practices.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture or related design field.
• Proficient with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar platforms.
• Experience with 3D visualization and rendering applications like Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, or Twinmotion.
• Deep understanding of architectural principles, spatial planning, construction materials, and techniques.
• Skilled in interpreting briefs and converting concepts into applicable architectural solutions.
• Excellent visual communication, problem solving, and analytical abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational prowess, and time management capabilities.
• Effective collaborator with multidisciplinary teams and ability to handle multiple design assignments.
• A portfolio that highlights architectural designs, project work, and visualizations is desirable.
