About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Design Verification Engineer to join our semiconductor and VLSI team, focusing on verifying complex IPs and SoC designs with high-speed protocol expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed verification plans for sophisticated IP blocks and SoCs.
- Create and maintain UVM/SystemVerilog verification environments for high-speed interface protocols.
- Verify protocols and IPs including PCIe, USB, DDR, Ethernet, AXI, AHB, APB, MIPI, SATA, and SerDes.
- Build reusable testbenches, verification components, scoreboards, checkers, and assertions.
- Achieve coverage goals through functional, code, and assertion coverage closure.
- Troubleshoot issues in RTL and gate-level simulations.
- Collaborate effectively with design, architecture, and validation teams to ensure thorough feature verification.
- Manage regression testing, execute test plans, and facilitate verification signoff.
- Support verification methodology development at both IP and subsystem levels.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and Verilog for verification purposes.
- Hands-on experience with verifying high-speed protocols.
- Good understanding and application of assertion-based verification (SVA).
- Familiarity with simulation and debugging tools like VCS, QuestaSim, and Xcelium.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell for automation tasks.
- Excellent debugging capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
- Experience with coverage-driven verification methodologies.
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience in System-on-Chip (SoC) or IP block verification.
- Exposure to formal verification methodologies is advantageous.
- Understanding of emulation or FPGA-based validation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
Education Requirement
A bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, VLSI, or Computer Engineering is required.
