About the Role

Our client, a multidisciplinary healthcare organization in Singapore comprising primary care clinics, private medical specialists, and allied health professionals, is expanding and seeks a qualified Dermatologist to join their medical team. This role involves delivering expert dermatological consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and continuous care for various medical and aesthetic skin conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dermatology consultations, clinical examinations, diagnose and treat conditions.
• Manage diverse skin, hair, and nail disorders such as acne, eczema, pigmentation issues, psoriasis, infections, and hair loss.
• Create tailored treatment plans and prescribe medications suited to each patient’s requirements.
• Conduct dermatological procedures aligned with training, experience, and institutional privileges.
• Provide aesthetic dermatology services when applicable.
• Educate patients on treatments, skincare practices, sun protection, and prevention strategies.
• Maintain patient medical records with accuracy, security, and confidentiality.
• Coordinate follow-up visits and necessary referrals to specialists or healthcare providers.
• Collaborate proactively with the clinical team to maintain high-grade patient safety, quality, and service.
• Keep updated with advances in dermatological treatments, practices, and guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a recognised medical degree and postgraduate qualifications or specialist training in Dermatology.
• Registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and hold a current practising certificate.
• Eligible for specialist registration on the SMC Specialist Register as required for this role.
• Relevant clinical experience in dermatology; additional experience in aesthetic dermatology is advantageous.
• Exemplary communication, interpersonal, and patient management abilities.
• Maintain a professional, ethical, and patient-focused clinical approach.
• Hold all valid professional credentials to practise medicine in Singapore.
