Deputy/Assistant Manager - Bus Information Systems

Role Overview

This position involves supporting the operation and management of bus and bus depot information systems within the Land Transport Authority. Key responsibilities include conducting system audits, managing the Fleet Management System, facilitating relevant meetings, and assisting with the oversight of system operations and maintenance performed by Public Transport Operators (PTOs) and appointed vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage information systems related to buses and depots.
• Perform audits and support Fleet Management System administration.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings between stakeholders.
• Support system operation and maintenance oversight by PTOs and vendors.
• Engage with Public Transport directorate initiatives and LTA events.
• Undertake other duties as required.

Prerequisites

• Educational background in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Current knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Intelligence (MI) tools; programming skills in Python and SQL are advantageous.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a service-oriented approach and a cooperative personality.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and open to learning new skill sets and adopting emerging technologies.
• Resourceful, innovative, and flexible in adapting to change.
