Department Supervisor

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Department Supervisor to join their team in Duncan, British Columbia. Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate associates to foster strong relationships with customers, peers, and team members, aiming to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales through excellent merchandising and product expertise.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels in the department that align with business demands.
• Manage associate performance by providing development opportunities, communication, recognition, and continuous feedback.
• Analyze sales and related reports alongside assistant managers to recommend improvements in inventory management, overhead organization, and cross-merchandising to boost sales.
• Maintain full stock availability and organized overhead plans.
• Address and escalate customer concerns when necessary.
• Communicate store sales, events, and promotional activities during rallies and weekly department meetings.
• Ensure adherence to all Safety and Asset Protection policies and protocols.

Requirements

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience ranging from 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

Additional Information

• Pay range for this position is $23.80 to $26.05 per hour.
