Dental Insurance Coordinator

About the Role

Retaj Medical Center is onboarding a Dental Insurance Coordinator to enhance our dental clinic's insurance and revenue-cycle operations in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves handling insurance claims and ensuring accurate coding to support multiple dental specialties within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine dental records to assign precise procedure, diagnosis, and tooth-number codes.
• Handle submission, monitoring, correction, and follow-up of dental insurance claims promptly.
• Oversee claims management covering diverse dental divisions like general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and implants.
• Confirm eligibility, insurance benefits, required approvals, and identify exclusions.
• Address and resolve claim rejections or denials with full documentation and audit trail maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with dentists, front-desk staff, billing personnel, and insurance teams for smooth operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least two years of dental coding experience working within a dental clinic based in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience in submitting insurance claims across all dental departments is essential.
• In-depth knowledge about dental procedures, coding conventions, tooth numbering systems, and UAE insurance processing procedures.
• Preference for candidates familiar with the Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi standards.
• Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication capabilities.

Compensation
