Dental Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a committed and skilled Dental Assistant with at least one year of relevant experience to join our team at National Dental Care in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, uphold a sterile clinical environment, prepare necessary instruments and materials, and ensure patients receive comprehensive care during their appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists throughout various dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient consultations.
• Sterilize, arrange, and upkeep dental equipment and instruments.
• Prepare and handle dental materials, tools, and medications as required.
• Conduct and process dental X-rays when applicable and authorized.
• Maintain precise patient records and document treatment details.
• Provide oral hygiene education and guidance on post-treatment care to patients.
• Follow stringent infection control and sterilization protocols consistently.
• Manage inventory and participate in ordering necessary dental supplies.
• Assist the dental team in ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is mandatory.
• A certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental instruments, clinical procedures, and infection control standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
• Basic computer skills for managing patient records.
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and patient-centered focus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting in specialties such as general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, or oral surgery.
• Knowledge of dental software systems and digital radiography techniques.
• Fluency in English and the local language for effective communication.

Additional Information

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Clinic Locations include Nalagandla, Srinagar Colony, Madhinaguda, Gachibowli, Vanasthalipuram, and Dilshuknagar in Hyderabad.
• Monthly salary range is 15,000 to 20,000 INR.
