Role Overview

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will manage daily food preparation tasks and other assigned duties to ensure compliance with established standards and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare food following menu guidelines set by the Chef de Partie.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area in alignment with hotel policies.
• Monitor food inventory and control food costs within your section.
• Prepare daily mise en place and food production across different kitchen areas or satellite locations.
• Adhere to instructions and directives from supervisors to complete daily tasks effectively.
• Uphold high standards of consistency and quality in food preparation and stay informed about new products, recipes, and culinary techniques.
• Guide and supervise junior staff in food preparation and assist in buffet setups and special events.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to manage cleanliness, reduce waste, and control costs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of a professional kitchen apprenticeship or culinary training program.
• Previous experience in reputable establishments demonstrating solid culinary skills.
• Proficient communication skills in English.
• Knowledgeable in food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
