Demand Planner

Role Overview

The Demand Planner is tasked with producing precise demand forecasts, examining sales developments, and synchronizing demand insights with supply chain capabilities. This role requires collaboration with commercial and supply chain units to optimize inventory and enhance forecast accuracy, supporting company growth and sustaining targeted customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Create baseline demand forecasts by leveraging historical data, market tendencies, and seasonal fluctuations.
• Lead demand planning discussions among Sales, Marketing, Retail, and Supply Chain departments to harmonize volume projections.
• Track and evaluate Forecast Accuracy and Bias metrics to identify discrepancies and implement remedial measures.
• Work alongside Marketing regarding new product launches, promotional activities, and product lifecycle transitions.
• Analyze sales trends, customer ordering behaviors, and channel-specific demand to refine forecast models.
• Develop and sustain dashboards and analytical reports via Power BI for management guidance and strategic decisions.
• Align demand forecasts with production and inventory strategies by coordinating with Supply Planning and Procurement teams.
• Supervise inventory levels across warehouses and channels to avert stock shortages and reduce excessive or obsolete stock.
• Maintain and update demand planning master data within the Microsoft Dynamics system.
• Drive ongoing enhancements to the demand planning workflow to boost operational productivity.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is mandatory.
• At least two years of practical experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within FMCG, Retail, or Food & Beverage manufacturing sectors.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is essential.
• Advanced skills in Power BI and Microsoft Excel for effective data examination and visualization.
• Solid knowledge of forecasting techniques, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and inventory control measures.
• Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and problem resolution capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
