Powertekk / Autopower Distribution is an authorised distributor of Exide batteries located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Role Overview

The company seeks a dependable and diligent delivery person responsible for transporting Exide batteries to dealers, mechanics, and retail clients, also providing on-site installation services when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of various types of batteries including two-wheeler, four-wheeler, inverter, and commercial batteries to dealers, garages, petrol stations, and customers.
• Carefully loading and unloading batteries while verifying model types and quantities against invoices or challans prior to dispatch.
• Installing batteries in vehicles and inverters at customer locations.
• Collecting exchanged old or scrap batteries and returning them to the outlet.
• Receiving cash or UPI payments where applicable, maintaining accurate records and submitting collections within the same day.
• Obtaining signed delivery challans or bills from recipients.
• Managing warranty battery transactions by picking them up from customers or dealers and delivering replacements.
• Maintaining cleanliness and reporting any issues with the delivery vehicle.
• Interacting politely with customers and dealers as a representative of the company.
• Adhering to daily delivery routes assigned by the branch supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory; possessing licences for three-wheeler or tempo vehicles is advantageous.
• Physical fitness to regularly handle batteries weighing between 15 to 30 kg.
• Basic familiarity with Mumbai, Vasai, and surrounding locality routes.
• Ability to read invoices and model numbers in English or Hindi.
• Possession of a smartphone for navigation (Google Maps), payment processing (UPI), and communication (WhatsApp).
• Integrity, punctuality, and preferably prior experience in deliveries, battery handling, or automotive parts.
• Basic skills in battery installation are preferred; training will be provided.

Compensation
