Delivery Manager - .NET/Java

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager specialized in .NET and Java technologies to oversee comprehensive project delivery. This role involves collaborating across various teams to fulfill client requirements, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring business objectives are achieved successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete delivery lifecycle across multiple teams ensuring alignment with client expectations and quality benchmarks
• Monitor all project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables while proactively addressing any discrepancies
• Grasp both technical and business dimensions of delivered solutions
• Identify and manage dependencies within and outside of teams
• Escalate critical risks with detailed impact analysis and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
• Provide clients and stakeholders with consistent updates, progress reports, and risk assessments
• Handle client engagement, manage expectations, and gather feedback to promote high satisfaction levels
• Set and oversee software development frameworks for Scrum teams
• Facilitate effective communication between clients and teams through regular status updates and risk discussions
• Lead several cross-functional Scrum teams including Product, Design, Development, and Sprint Demonstrations
• Develop and maintain project plans considering all SDLC phases
• Promote Agile estimation approaches and implement Agile metrics across projects
• Manage projects from backlog creation through to production deployment

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 13 to 15 years of total professional experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in delivery management roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Demonstrable expertise in .NET and Java development environments
• Proven track record managing medium to large-scale projects and leading Agile transformations
• Excellent leadership capabilities combined with strong communication and decision-making skills for stakeholder engagement
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and program dependencies efficiently
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, skilled in facilitation, conflict resolution, and driving continuous improvements
• Experience measuring Agile metrics and enhancing transparency within Scrum teams
• Background in Financial Services or Wealth Management is advantageous
• SAFe certification is required
