Overview
The Sofa Delivery Company, part of the DFS Group, is dedicated to delivering exceptional service as a two-person delivery team for DFS and Sofology brands. Our mission is to provide excellent customer experiences by delivering sofas and furniture safely, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture into customers' homes carefully and professionally, ensuring no damage to items or property.
- Communicate with customers in advance to confirm delivery timing.
- Place furniture in the customer's specified room and ensure no rubbish is left behind.
- Uphold the company's values along with those of our partner brands at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and management to offer feedback and help elevate service quality continually.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy furniture and navigating challenging spaces like stairs.
- Commitment to safety for oneself and others, and pride in delivering quality work.
Additional Information
- Competitive salary of £27,505 annually (£13.39 per hour) plus an annual performance bonus up to £2,000 paid quarterly.
- Location allowance of £2,000.
- Work schedule is a permanent 4-on, 4-off rotation from 7am to 7pm, totaling 39.35 hours per week.
