Delivery Expert

Overview

Domino's Pizza is seeking Delivery Experts to join its team in Buffalo, NY. This role offers flexible scheduling ideal for students, those needing part-time work, or anyone seeking extra income. Entry-level drivers have room for career advancement into management or franchise ownership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate store equipment and assist in product preparation and inventory management.
• Receive and process telephone orders accurately using telephone and computer interfaces.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and make timely deliveries to customers, navigating different terrains and multi-level buildings.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and store facilities.
• Deliver pizzas, flyers, and promotional materials by car and by foot to designated addresses.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company safety standards.
• Access to a legally insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
• Good navigational skills including map reading to efficiently locate delivery addresses within assigned areas.
• Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment including telephones, calculators, computers, and pizza preparation tools.
• Basic arithmetic skills for handling cash and making accurate monetary change.
• Good communication skills for customer and team interactions both in-person and over the phone.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Exposure to variable and sometimes harsh weather conditions during deliveries and outdoor tasks.
• Physical activities include standing for long periods, walking short distances repeatedly, carrying items up to 30 pounds during delivery, and managing ups and downs of stairs especially in multi-story deliveries.
• Tasks involve lifting product cases weighing up to 50 pounds, reaching above head level, stooping, crouching, and pushing/pulling tray dollies.
• Work inside store involves temperature variations from coolers at 36°F to hot areas over 90°F.
