About the Role
Domino's is seeking qualified delivery drivers who value flexible scheduling to join their team in Sullivan, IN. This position offers the freedom to balance work with personal commitments like school or additional jobs, making it an ideal opportunity for varied schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment efficiently.
- Stock ingredients across delivery areas, storage, workstations, and walk-in coolers.
- Prepare food products to company standards.
- Handle telephone orders, process them accurately, and manage inventory and related documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities daily.
- Deliver pizzas and related items within designated areas safely, including navigating multi-level buildings and varying terrain.
- Distribute flyers and door hangers as required.
Requirements and Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record in line with company policies.
- Have access to a reliable insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Strong navigation and map-reading skills to accurately locate delivery destinations.
- Proficient communication skills for interaction with customers and coworkers both in person and via telephone.
- Basic mathematical ability to handle money transactions and calculations quickly and accurately.
- Capability to operate computers or touch screens for order entry.
- Physical ability to carry items ranging from light to moderate weights up to approximately 50 pounds, navigate stairs, and work in varying temperature conditions including cold storage and hot kitchen areas.
- Adaptability to working under various weather conditions, close quarters, and exposure to food odors and kitchen environment factors.
Physical and Work Environment
- Majority of work involves standing, walking short distances, lifting and carrying supplies, sometimes up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to temperatures from coolers at 36°F to hot areas up to 90°F+.
- Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders for maintenance and deliveries in multi-story buildings.
- Precise motor skills required for equipment handling and order processing.
