Role Description

As a Delivery Expert, you play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and enjoyably. You will serve as the face of Domino's, maintaining a professional appearance aligned with brand standards while delivering outstanding service. Key aspects include effective customer communication, punctuality, and a sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigate and deliver pizzas efficiently across diverse environments including multi-story buildings and private homes, carrying orders safely.
  • Perform repetitive tasks whether independently or collaborating, manage stress, uphold strict quality control, and make sound ethical decisions swiftly.
  • Take inventory, stock and organize ingredients between the delivery area and storage locations, and complete related paperwork accurately.
  • Handle telephone orders promptly to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations and handle monetary transactions including giving correct change.
  • Use computer keyboards and touch screens comfortably as part of order processing and delivery operations.

Physical Demands

  • Standing and moving extensively during shifts, with walking surfaces consisting of ceramic tile bricks and linoleum.
  • Occasional handling of product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, including unloading and stacking.
  • Activities may involve crouching, squatting, stooping, bending, or climbing stairs as needed.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination for tasks such as dough shaping, using pizza peels and cutters, and folding pizza boxes.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
  • 18-year-olds need 2 years of driving experience; applicants 19 or older require 1 year.
  • Access to a clean, insured vehicle less than 10 years old suitable for deliveries.
  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record Check according to company standards.
