Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver orders to customers' residences and businesses.
• Confirm order accuracy and collect payments when necessary.
• Use maps and GPS tools to navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and orderly.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and fellow team members.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries or issues with professionalism.
• Comply with traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel expenses.
• Conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and promptly report any problems.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Clean driving record adhering to company standards (no more than two traffic violations in the last three years).
• Access to a reliable, insured vehicle appropriate for making deliveries.
• Strong navigational skills, familiar with map reading and GPS technologies.
• Capability to work in diverse weather conditions and handle various terrains including multi-level buildings.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding customer service aptitude demonstrated by a friendly and professional manner.
• Basic arithmetic skills for managing cash transactions and payments.
• Physical ability to carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage unforeseen circumstances during deliveries.
