Job Overview
This role involves delivering delicious Domino's pizzas to customers promptly and safely. Drivers benefit from a flexible schedule that accommodates school, other jobs, or personal activities. Key Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment and stock ingredients to various storage and preparation areas.
- Prepare pizzas and other products accurately.
- Answer and process telephone orders efficiently.
- Take inventory and complete relevant paperwork.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis.
- Deliver orders by car to customer locations within designated delivery zones.
- Deliver marketing materials such as flyers and door hangers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record according to company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
- Good navigational skills, including the ability to read maps and locate various addresses, possibly in multi-story buildings or other challenging terrain.
- Basic math skills to handle money accurately, including making change.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers.
Physical and Work Environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures and occasionally adverse weather conditions during deliveries and outdoor tasks.
- Work in confined spaces such as walk-in coolers and around hot ovens with surfaces reaching 500 degrees or higher.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of supplies up to 50 pounds, stacking shelves up to 72 inches high, and transporting multiple trays of dough.
- Require climbing stairs and navigating challenging terrain carrying products safely.
- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination essential for handling pizza assembly tools and cash transactions.
