Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and stock ingredients to various storage and preparation areas.
• Prepare pizzas and other products accurately.
• Answer and process telephone orders efficiently.
• Take inventory and complete relevant paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis.
• Deliver orders by car to customer locations within designated delivery zones.
• Deliver marketing materials such as flyers and door hangers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record according to company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
• Good navigational skills, including the ability to read maps and locate various addresses, possibly in multi-story buildings or other challenging terrain.
• Basic math skills to handle money accurately, including making change.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers.

Physical and Work Environment

• Exposure to varying temperatures and occasionally adverse weather conditions during deliveries and outdoor tasks.
• Work in confined spaces such as walk-in coolers and around hot ovens with surfaces reaching 500 degrees or higher.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of supplies up to 50 pounds, stacking shelves up to 72 inches high, and transporting multiple trays of dough.
• Require climbing stairs and navigating challenging terrain carrying products safely.
• Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination essential for handling pizza assembly tools and cash transactions.
