Job Overview

The Delivery Driver at The Restaurant Store is entrusted with managing the loading and transportation of customer orders within the local area. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service while efficiently navigating delivery routes and carrying out entry-level delivery tasks. During periods of reduced delivery activity, the driver supports in-store operations by assisting with customer order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Systematically load customer orders into the delivery vehicle in the sequence of deliveries.
• Follow daily delivery routes using the company's authorized software tool.
• Interact courteously and professionally with customers while delivering products following company guidelines.
• Redirect customer inquiries to Sales team members as appropriate.
• Keep the delivery van clean and in good order.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections as per company standards.
• Carry out additional assignments from management to promote smooth store operations aligned with business targets.
• Provide assistance with operational tasks within the store when needed.

Physical Demands

• Job requires standing and walking for up to 9 hours daily.
• Effective communication skills utilizing speech, vision, and hearing.
• Regular use of hands for grasping and manipulative tasks.
• Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds regularly.

Experience and Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
• No formal degree required; relevant skills, experience, and cultural fit are prioritized.
