About the Role
Domino's is seeking reliable Delivery Drivers to join our fast-growing team. This role offers a flexible schedule ideal for balancing school, social life, or additional jobs. As a valued team member, you'll deliver delicious pizzas while having opportunities for career progression into management and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various store equipment and maintain cleanliness.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from deliveries to storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and handle phone orders accurately.
- Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
- Deliver orders efficiently and safely within assigned delivery zones.
- Deliver promotional materials such as flyers and door hangers.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
- Competent navigation skills to locate customer addresses, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Basic math skills for making correct change and processing orders.
- Ability to use computers or touch screens for order entry.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Work involves exposure to varying temperatures (from coolers at 36°F to ovens exceeding 500°F) and weather conditions during deliveries.
- Tasks require standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting items up to 50 pounds, carrying trays of dough and sauce, pushing and pulling dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, and bending or squatting occasionally.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and handling of sharp equipment or hot surfaces.
- Requires sensory abilities including talking, hearing, near and far vision, night vision, and depth perception for safe driving.
