About the Role
Join the team at Argos, one of the UK's top digital retailers, delivering exceptional convenience, variety, and value for customers. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be crucial in ensuring our products are delivered promptly, safely, and professionally to customers or their designated collection points.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and deliver over 60,000 products with care directly to customers' doors or preferred collection spots.
- Efficiently load the delivery vehicle and complete the assigned number of delivery stops per shift, guided by an electronic device (ePod).
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Stay connected through phone support while on the road, adhering to route directions to complete the shift on time.
- Practice safe driving and follow all relevant guidelines and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be at least of school-leaving age as defined by the UK government.
- Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
- Possession of a full UK or EU driving license held for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points on the license.
- Be physically capable of handling goods, including lifting and carrying as part of the delivery process.
- Exhibit reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any delivery challenges that may arise.
