Delivery Boy

About the Role

We are seeking Delivery Boys to join FirstCry, a leading company in the e-commerce and retail domain specializing in baby and kids products. The position is based in Guindy, Chennai. This role is suitable for both freshers and experienced candidates who can efficiently deliver orders to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of FirstCry orders to customers.
• Collect parcels from the warehouse or store and transport them to designated addresses.
• Manage Cash on Delivery (COD) payments when applicable.
• Handle parcels carefully to avoid damage and assure prompt arrival.
• Update the delivery status regularly using the provided mobile application.
• Communicate with customers to coordinate delivery time and location.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries completed and those pending or failed.
• Return any undelivered or returned items back to the warehouse.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of 10th or 12th standard education minimum.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license.
• Having a personal bike or scooter is preferred.
• Must own an Android smartphone to use the delivery application.
• Good familiarity with local neighborhoods and routes in Chennai.
• Basic communication skills needed for interacting with customers.
• Ability to work outdoors and manage deliveries in the field.

Compensation and Additional Details

The monthly salary range offered is between INR 15,000 to INR 28,000, based on interview performance and incentives provided.
