Role Overview
The Deli Supervisor is responsible for the smooth and effective operation of the deli department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and excellent customer service. This position requires leadership skills and hands-on involvement in fresh food management.
Candidate Profile
- At least one year of supervisory experience in fresh food settings.
- Minimum two years experience working in roles closely connected to fresh food.
- Certified and experienced in HACCP and food safety compliance.
- Competent in ordering processes for deli departments and waste control within fresh food areas.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
- Ability to handle numerical tasks effectively.
- Experience in employee scheduling and managing budgets.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Passion for the food industry with a creative and innovative approach to fresh food offerings.
- Customer-centric leadership qualities with the ability to foster loyalty and quality standards.
- Capable of motivating, guiding, and developing team members through support and training.
