Job description
Overview
As a Deli Clerk at Tom Thumb Supermarket, your role involves delivering outstanding customer service while expertly handling a variety of deli products including meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, as well as gourmet and hot prepared foods. Each day offers fresh challenges and responsibilities in preparing delicious offerings that encourage customers to return regularly. You will operate various equipment such as meat and cheese slicers, scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers to provide an excellent experience.
Daily Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve deli items with care and attention to quality
- Use deli equipment proficiently including slicers, scales, fryers, and ovens
- Engage customers with a friendly and knowledgeable approach to inspire a memorable store visit
- Support team members and contribute positively to the atmosphere of the store
Candidate Profile
- Must be 18 years or older
