The Deli Assistant is responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold deli items while prioritizing customer satisfaction at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Completion of HACCP training is favorable but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills are essential
• Experience in customer service is beneficial
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Genuine enthusiasm for food and the capability to engage and inspire customers

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare customer orders across fresh food sections including assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats adhering to portion control standards
• Cook, arrange, and present food products consistently throughout the day
• Maintain exceptional standards for counter displays in all fresh food departments continuously during operational hours
• Express passion for quality foods by sharing recipes, insights, and personal recommendations with customers
• Address all customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and in compliance with store policies
