Debt Collector

Role Summary

We are urgently seeking a proactive and determined Debt Collector to join our finance team in Qatar. This position involves managing and recovering overdue payments through effective communication and negotiation, ensuring the company’s receivables are maintained accurately.

Primary Duties

• Continuously review outstanding receivables and diligently follow up on all delinquent accounts daily.
• Engage in persistent telephone communications and conduct on-site visits to negotiate and agree on debt settlements.
• Develop structured payment plans tailored to debtors and resolve any billing or payment disputes promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and provide regular updates to management concerning recovery progress.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in debt collection or credit control roles with a proven track record of successful recoveries.
• Possession of a valid Qatar driving license is mandatory to perform field visits.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion capabilities combined with clear and professional communication skills.
• Fluency in English for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Resident of Qatar holding a transferable Qatar ID and NOC clearance.
