Role Overview

The Deal Desk Manager will be the inaugural hire supporting EMEA and APAC markets, responsible for accelerating deal progress and enhancing the quote-to-close procedure. Collaborating closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance, this role manages quoting and contracting tools and processes, optimizes order management tasks, and empowers go-to-market teams with best practices that boost deal speed and ensure compliance. The position is remote based in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist sales teams throughout the deal lifecycle including quote preparation, approvals, contract routing, and order entry.
  • Ensure deals conform to internal policies, pricing frameworks, and legal standards.
  • Manage the deal desk workflow and act as primary contact for deal inquiries in EMEA and APAC.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for order management platforms such as Salesforce, DocuSign, and Ironclad; handle tool administration and user training.
  • Conduct thorough review of executed contracts to verify accuracy and compliance; ensure all necessary information for order processing and revenue recognition is complete.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to maintain and enhance templates and workflows for quotes, contracts, and orders, identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Coordinate requests involving non-standard deal elements between Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal departments.
  • Work alongside Revenue Operations to automate and scale quoting and contracting workflows.
  • Design and deliver onboarding and continuous training programs for Sales and Customer Success teams on deal desk tools and procedures.
  • Document quoting and contracting protocols comprehensively.
  • Spot bottlenecks in the quote-to-close process and recommend actionable enhancements to speed deal closure.
  • Engage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and pricing strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 8 years’ experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related roles within B2B SaaS environments.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS pricing structures, sales motions including New Business, Renewals, Expansions, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Proficient hands-on usage of CRM and CPQ systems; Salesforce expertise is highly preferred; familiarity with DocuSign, Ironclad, Dealhub or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Adept at thriving under dynamic, fast-growing global company conditions with evolving procedures.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for enhancing systems and streamlining team workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling deal desk operations within startup or rapidly growing firms.
  • Knowledge of international deal frameworks and multi-currency quoting.
  • Understanding of hardware infrastructure sales and procurement through OEMs.
  • Familiarity with software licensing agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), and SaaS compliance terms.

Who You Are

  • Proactive and growth-oriented with intellectual curiosity and robust business acumen, always eager to acquire new skills.
  • Detail-driven problem solver capable of independently gathering information and efficiently resolving challenges with a decisive attitude.
  • Energetic in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, able to work swiftly and contribute effectively to organizational growth.
  • Collaborative team player focused on shared success rather than individual agendas.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented with strong prioritization abilities and dedicated work ethic.
