About the Role
Datadog's General & Administrative team is rapidly growing to support the scaling of office space, recruitment, onboarding, financial, and legal systems to maintain smooth business operations. The Deal Desk Analyst will collaborate across multiple teams—Sales Operations, Billing, Contracts, and Legal—to assist the Global Sales Team with quoting and deal structuring. This role offers significant growth opportunities as Datadog expands its business.

Primary Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive understanding of Datadog's licensing and pricing frameworks to support global sales teams with deal structuring and quoting.
- Apply innovative problem-solving to address customer needs while following company sales policies.
- Resolve customer satisfaction concerns after deal completion.
- Negotiate deals directly with customers when required.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management teams.
- Serve as the main contact and expert resource for sales regarding deal pricing.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, processes, and business rules.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of four years’ experience encompassing sales operations, finance, sales strategy, or sales enablement activities.
- At least two years managing deal structuring and quoting for complex SaaS transactions within a fast-growing multinational organization.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition standards.
- Comfortable representing the organization in direct customer negotiations and addressing satisfaction issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Aptitude for working effectively in fast-moving, high-pressure conditions.
- Proficient quantitative and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) tools.
