Data Tester

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and test data accuracy, consistency, and completeness within databases and data warehouses.
• Develop and execute advanced SQL queries to detect errors and anomalies.
• Design test scenarios for data processing and integration workflows (ETL/ELT).
• Collaborate with development and analytics teams to report and resolve identified discrepancies.
• Document test outcomes and generate regular data quality reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of experience in data testing, data analysis, or database-related roles.
• Strong practical command of SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregate functions, and subqueries.
• Solid understanding of relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and a strong sense of responsibility towards data quality.
• Basic knowledge of data warehouse architecture or ETL processes is advantageous.
