Data Scientist

Role Overview

We invite applications for the position of Data Scientist based in Leipzig, Germany. This full-time, permanent role is with a technology-driven company where you will design and deploy cutting-edge machine learning models, develop autonomous agentic systems, and create AI-based analytical solutions. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will convert complex datasets into insightful metrics and efficient performance measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, assess, and refine both supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
• Create agentic frameworks and AI-enabled self-service analytics platforms.
• Interpret intricate data sets to produce understandable metrics, visualization, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with engineering departments to maintain data integrity and integrate models seamlessly into operational systems.
• Advance innovation by investigating novel AI and machine learning approaches.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related quantitative disciplines.
• Robust expertise in statistical methods, machine learning theory, and model performance verification.
• Relevant practical experience specifically with large language models (LLM) or agentic system implementations.
• Proficiency in Python programming; familiarity with SQL, C++, and C# is advantageous.
• Ability to work methodically and independently, excellent English communication skills, and a strong collaborative spirit.

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Leipzig, Germany (On-site)

Salary Range: €70,000 - €80,000 annually
