Role Overview

As a Data Scientist within our Data Science Chapter, you will be instrumental in advancing Retail Media model development and experimental design within agile squads. This role involves extracting valuable insights from complex data sets and employing cutting-edge cloud technologies to develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end predictive machine learning models. Collaborating across multiple functional teams, you will convert sophisticated data findings into actionable, data-informed strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Retail Media models and experimental frameworks through data-driven optimization.
• Design, build, test, implement, and maintain predictive machine learning models throughout their lifecycle.
• Perform comprehensive hypothesis testing and statistical experimentations from conception to performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, analytics, and business teams to enhance data-driven capabilities.
• Communicate complex analytics and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Strong proficiency in Python programming and SQL querying combined with a solid foundation in statistical analysis and experiment design.
• Substantial experience in developing and deploying machine learning models end-to-end within modern technological ecosystems.
• Practical experience handling large-scale data on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity and enthusiasm for modern AI productivity tools including Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code, with a passion for emerging AI trends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of effective communication and collaboration in hybrid or remote environments.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage deadlines while continuously improving processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

• Experience specifically in predictive model building and optimization within the Retail Media sector.
• Knowledge of and experience with implementing Agentic AI frameworks such as ADK or LangChain.
