Data Scientist

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at CompuSafe Data Systems AG, you will design and implement stochastic models such as risk, lapse, and conversion models by leveraging machine learning and data mining techniques. You'll collaborate in agile, interdisciplinary teams, taking ownership from concept through implementation. Your responsibilities include enhancing actuarial analysis tools and automating and optimizing current processes while ensuring coordinated communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop stochastic models using machine learning and data mining approaches.
• Participate in strategic projects within agile and cross-functional teams, managing end-to-end solutions.
• Create and improve tools for actuarial data analysis.
• Automate and optimize existing workflows and processes.
• Maintain aligned communication with all involved stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with current technological trends.
• Experience in data modeling, machine learning, and data mining is advantageous.
• Excellent command of German and English languages (minimum C1 level).
