Aspire Manpower Services is recruiting a Data Privacy Specialist for a client based in Abu Dhabi.

Role Overview

The chosen individual will establish effective privacy controls, advise teams on proper handling of personal data, and aid the organization in maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep up-to-date privacy policies, procedures, and data processing records.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for various projects, technologies, AI initiatives, and data-sharing operations.
• Evaluate privacy statements, consent forms, contracts, and arrangements with third-party data processors.
• Manage data-subject rights requests and assist in evaluating personal data breaches.
• Oversee compliance, follow up on corrective measures, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Conduct privacy education and awareness programs for business and technical teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in law, cybersecurity, IT, information governance, risk, compliance, or related areas.
• Minimum of six years of pertinent experience in data privacy, governance, and compliance with significant practical privacy work.
• In-depth understanding of UAE Personal Data Protection Law and Abu Dhabi’s related data governance regulations.
• Competence in privacy impact assessments, third-party evaluations, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining audit-compliant documentation.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Privacy-related certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, or ISO/IEC 27701 considered beneficial.

Additional Notes

• Preference will be given to UAE Nationals.
• Monthly salary starting at AED 25,000, negotiable depending on experience.
