Data Privacy Manager

Role Overview

Located in Mumbai, we seek a seasoned Data Privacy Manager with over 12 years of experience to spearhead privacy and compliance operations throughout business and technology teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives related to data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage compliance with global privacy frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, PIPEDA, and India's DPDPA legislation.
• Conduct privacy assessments, audits, and risk evaluations.
• Implement Privacy by Design principles across technology and product development.
• Oversee Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) and consent management processes.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Assess privacy risks associated with vendors and third parties.
• Deliver privacy training and promote awareness within the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders including the Data Protection Officer (DPO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering departments.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, or their equivalents are highly preferred.
• Knowledge or certification in ISO 27701 and ISO 27001 is advantageous.
